Servants of Prayer in the Holy Spirit

Servants of Prayer in the Holy Spirit

Who We AreWe are men and women who make the conscious decision to allow Jesus Christ to be the Lord of our lives, and choose purposely to follow Jesus Christ with emphasis on our relationship with the Holy Spirit and His movement in us.

We acclaim with one accord our full dedication to God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God, and God the Holy Spirit. We willingly surrender to their direction, love, and empowerment to be made holy and pleasing in their sight.

We seek to remain faithful to the Roman Catholic Magisterial teachings and                   interpretation of the truths of Scripture.

We are open to receive ALL the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of assisting us in bearing witness to Jesus Christ and bringing the Gospel to life in our world today with love and fire just as His apostles did 2000 years ago to further the Kingdom of God on earth.

What We DoWe gather in support of each other to serve the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. We offer prayers of praise, thanksgiving, intercession and petition. We worship through song, listening to Scripture, and the sharing of inspired understanding.  A deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit and living in the Holy Spirit  is our focus.

Why We Come TogetherWith expectant hope and faith in the revealed Word of God, we come with open hearts seeking to intercede before God in prayer on behalf of ourselves, our community, and mankind. We ask to receive the outpouring of the graces and power of the Holy Spirit and humbly allow Him to heal, transform, and renew lives so to be conformed to the life of Jesus Christ for the betterment of the world.

When We MeetWe meet  from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the choir loft on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month (check Event page for confirmation).

Where We Meet: We meet in the choir loft or bride’s room of St. Mary Church, 14200 East Old US Highway12,  Chelsea.
