It’s no exaggeration to say that prayer and its relationship to the Bible are among the most important topics we can examine. That’s because we come to know God through the Bible, and commune with him through prayer. They’re meant to go together. In fact, an entire section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is dedicated to prayer. “The Church knows that we can’t make it through this life and into heaven without the power of prayer. It is the beginning of a relationship meant to last for an eternity.” Scott Hahn
