It’s that time of year again! The Chelsea Knights of Columbus will begin their 36th annual fish dinner season on March 3rd with dinners being served every Friday through 14th from 5pm until 8pm. The all you can eat dinners, which feature baked and fried Atlantic cod, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, soup of the day, potatoes, vegetables, a glass of milk, cup of coffee or tea and salad bar, are served at your table by a staff of friendly volunteer community members. Dinner prices are $10 for adults 12 and older and $5 for children who are 11 and under. Senior citizens 62 and over pay just $9. Carryout dinners are available for $9 and are served by a separate carryout line to speed up your trip home. Reserved parking for carryout patrons is also available. As in the past, the Knights of Columbus request that Parish members donate desserts, either home baked or purchased. The donated desserts are sold to fund partial scholarships awarded to Parish graduating Seniors. The desserts can be dropped off in the Parish Hall on fish dinner Fridays. Volunteers are always needed to work on Fridays in the kitchen preparing and serving the food, serving fish dinners to our guests at their tables, preparing the desserts for sale to guests and on clean-up duty after 8pm. If you have time and energy to donate on any one or more of the fish dinner Fridays (no need to be a Knight of Columbus member to volunteer), please contact Jenny Haroney at 734.475.8164 or Al Letizio at 734.475.6484 or letizio@att.net.
