The Knights of Columbus are in the process of recruiting Catholic men 18 years of age or older to serve our Church, community, and Parish families. The Knights of Columbus were originally established in 1882 to support, in part, the spouses and children of deceased Catholic men and to be of service to Church and community by coming to the aid of those most in need in society. The principles of the Order are Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, which ideals make up the four Ceremonial Degrees of the Knights of Columbus. You are invited to join and become a member of the Knights of Columbus on Sunday, May 4th, when an infrequent opportunity is presented. Chelsea Council #3092 is sponsoring three Degrees on the same day at St. Mary. Normally, the First Degree Ceremonies is offered on a date separate from the Second and Third Degree Ceremonies, which could involve considerable travel and scheduling challenges. Having the Degree Ceremonies close to home eliminates the need  for a long road trip; provides a setting that you are familiar with; provides you with the opportunity to join the Knights of Columbus with fellow parishioners with whom you might be familiar and, most importantly, you will be joining the Knights of Columbus in connection with Ceremonies honoring the Canonization on April 27th of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II. This is a rare opportunity, which is not likely to again be offered in the near future. If you are interested in joining the Knights of Columbus, please contact Ken Klovski at 734.260.9971.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm
