Collection at 4:30pm, 8am & 10am Masses. Everyone is invited to participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring: The teams have been decided...it's the Denver Broncos v. Seattle Seahawks. Choose your team...bring your food donations and cash donations then drop them by your teams soup pot. We will be collecting on Sat/Sun, Feb. 1st/2nd. Support Pope Francis and work to take care of those who need assistance in their monthly food budget. All food & cash donations will be given to Faith In Action. It would be wonderful if we had Souper Bowl of Caring Angels who would pledge $50 and encourage others to do the same. Mary Lou is in for $50!

The workshop will begin with Mass at 9am. We will be hosting Craig Pohl, Director of Evangelization, Diocese of Lansing, as our guest speaker. Craig will speak on “Growing an Engaged Church.” Following his presentation, there will be opportunity for formation and training based on each individual ministry or parishioners may choose to attend a general session open to those who want to explore ministry participation as a general topic. All women are invited to attend the 2 hour DVD viewing of COMMON GROUND, What Protestants and Catholics Can Learn From Each Other. This program was produced by Kensington Community Church as part of their ministry to foster Christian unity and understanding between Roman Catholics and Evangelical Protestants. It is a candid conversation between Fr. John Riccardo of then St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Church but presently at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth and Pastor Steve Andrews of Kensington Community Church. They respectfully examine the similarities between the two great traditions they represent discussing: Salvation, Holy Eucharist, the Virgin Mary, Confession, the Saints, Prayer & Worship, Evangelism, and Christian Unity.
