Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, I grew up in a non-religious family. We believed in Christian values, but we didn’t actively go to church or talk about God. When I met my husband, Sean, I really started to be introduced to the Catholic Faith. Sean was not a practicing Catholic at the time, but he held strong to his faith and values. We were married in 2005 and have three children who have been raised in the Catholic faith, bringing Sean back to his faith, and me to mine. I officially joined the Church in 2016 on Holy Saturday. In 2017, God opened the door for me to become the office secretary. A position that answered some prayers on purpose, and filled a wanting to be more active in the church.
